Mark Favre was born and raised in the Twin Cities, Minnesota and married 13 years to Jacqueline Favre with three children, Ryan 9, Lauren 7 and Ethan 3 years old. He currently resides in New Brighton, Minnesota with the corporate office in Forest Lake, Minnesota.

Mark founded Planet Games in 1994, a retail software chain that became second in sales volume (next to Game Stop) in the Twin Cities and which was acquired 8 years later by another company. Mark Favre began acquiring land for commercial development of retail malls while serving as interim president of Planet Games. Mark founded and is currently involved in the operations at MCF Capital, an investment fund that specializes in company valuation and purchasing assets through publicly traded equities which serves interests worldwide. Mark is currently the President and CEO of Favre Group in 2003 which is a team of qualified and experienced commercial and project management personnel whose primary interests is devoted to land acquisition and development of commercial, multifamily and senior cooperatives.
